Is Ann Coulter Really Anti-Semitic?

Ann Coulter (who’s a Gentile) is catching some major heat for some comments she made regarding Jews.

She’s being called all sorts of uncharitable names, and her comments have drawn the “anti-semitic” and “hateful” labels,
“Coulter draws fire over remarks about Jews”

What is it that she said to deserve this? According to the above article,

Conservative author Ann Coulter finds herself in the middle of a firestorm once again after remarks on a CNBC television show in which she said Jews need “to be perfected” and suggested the nation would be better off if it were all-Christian.

Dennis Prager, who is Jewish, wrote a column which offers up an opinion on all this from a rational Jewish perspective
Ann Coulter Wants Jews to Become Christian — So What?

What was interesting to me was something I read in the Jewish New Testament Commentary by Dr. David H. Stern:

To suppose that one can trust in God without trusting in Yeshua and His atoning death is to trust only in the god of one’s imagination and not in the God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya’akov (p.367).

Yeshua, of course, is known to the most of us as Jesus of Nazareth who claimed to be the Son of God.

Now, Dr. Stern is Jewish and his words are far “stronger” than what Coulter said, so does that make Stern anti-Semitic? If one is to label Stern’s words as hateful towards Jews and even Muslims, then one has to apply the same label to another Jew, Jesus, who said,

if you knew Me, you would know My Father also. — John 8:19

Here’s another quote from yet another Jew, the Apostle John,

Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. — 1 John 2:23

Is John anti-Semitic? I suppose that would be a question to pose to alarmists like Leonard Pitts and Tim Rutten. It might be good to point these guys to books like,“Christianity is Jewish” by Edith Schaeffer

Not to mention the Bible, perhaps the most “anti-Semitic” book known to man.

You know, I only have to read about this religious tit-for-tat to know I was right to compose and record The Heretic’s Song. Have a listen on my related blog The Musiquarium

If she had used the term “completed” Jew, I think she might not have been as misunderstood. But who knows.

Most individuals don’t even know the extent of Semitic peoples. It is not just the tribe of Judah, commonly called Jews in modern times, that are Semitic.

Hey free, good to hear from you again.

Yeah I know that Jews are not the only Semites, but I stuck with society’s erroneous definition for the sake of simplicity.

Heck, and I was going to post my objections to the word.. Glad I’m not the only one who recoils at the term antisemetic.

Jews find it more advantageous to identify with a race since they no longer have anything in common with the faith of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

David Stern wrote a phony Bible –

From the Introduction of David Stern’s Jewish New Testament: “For example, in other versions the Greek phrase upo nomon is usually translated “under the law”. But because this rendering has been used to buttress anti-torah Christian theology, the Jewish New Testament spells out the meaning of these two Greek words in thirteen English words: “in subjection to the system which results from perverting the Torah into legalism.” – D. Stern

What is the result of Mr. Sterns new, previously unknown, translation of the term “Law”? His book of Galatians makes Paul into the Hero of the enemy he was (in fact) fighting against!

Let us look at Galatians 2:19.

    The REAL New Testament says…

“For I through the Law – under the operations (of the curse) of the Law – have (in Christ’s death for me) myself died to the Law and all the Law’s demands upon me, so that I may (henceforth) live to and for God.” – The Amplified Bible

The false “Jewish New Testament” says…

“For it was through letting the Torah speak for itself that I died to it’s traditional legalistic misinterpretation, so that I might live in direct relationship with God.”

What’s the problem? While Paul clearly says that He is dead to the Torah, Mr. Stern tries to make Paul say that it was only a “misinterpretation” of the Torah which Paul has died to. And the implication which Mr. Stern wants to infer is that Paul (and so, every believer in Jesus) is still under an obligation to obey the “real” Torah.
The entire book of Galatians is distorted and perverted by Mr. Stern’s false interpretation and that falsehood can be found throughout Mr. Stern’s entire false translation.

As far as I am concerned, Ann Coulter is a nauseating excuse for a human being.

Don’t you think this a bit harsh?

She is so far right that it is frightening. She is an extremist, and uses her outrageousness to make money – the American dream – and sell her obnoxious books also to make money.

For the record, I have not read any of Ms. Coulter’s books so I can’t speak on their obnoxiousness. Have you read any of them?

What strikes me is that she dresses in her ubiquitous black dress and long, “sexy” blonde hair – an antethesis, in a sense, to the words she speaks, as if to distract the audience that she is some kind of “babe.”

Well I don’t consider her as such but that really has no bearing on anything…

She is a phony ******* who has created herself to be endeared by the media as a right winger and she is moaning and groaning all the way to the bank.

    Do you know her personally?

I wish she’d leave the country. She is a disgrace. I am Jewish and find her more than offensive. She makes me sick. ~ Donna L. Copman

Next time don’t hold back, lol. Thanks for your input!

I’ve noticed that Ann Coulter’s books are tough to read — tough like leather

What a deception. Once again man thinks he can change the word of God in this abomination of a book.

Even God called them a stiffnecked people in the wilderness. Worried only about what is to eat and drink and still worshipping false Gods even when they saw Him with their own eyes.

But Amen, when they see the signs (God says Fools require a sign)

They will quickly turn to God once again. JEsus Christ, our Messiah, who died for the sins of mankind.
Example of just one of the NEW translations of this so called complete Jewish Bible

While these folks scream anti semitism, they are being anti Christ.
