Jessica Alba goes Hannibal Lecter for the Common Good

Election season can be amusing for a myriad of reasons. One such reason is that some celebrities come out of their sheltered existences to perform the noblest of tasks: get the narod to vote Democrat.

They do this using clever slogans, such as Sean Combs’ “Vote or Die” campaign or even more clever photography, like this:

Yes, that is movie star Jessica Alba doing her best Hannibal Lecter impersonation (read the full story here).

Truth be told, no matter what Ms. Alba does, I will forever think of her as the girl in Idle Hands.

Jessica is a professing Barack Hussein Obama (that’s for you Job) supporter. Describing this new campaign (Declare Yourself), she said:

If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.

I know that not everything is peachy keen in this great country, but these words ring a little hollow coming from someone who pulls a couple million per film not to mention a few more from Revlon.

Unspoken in this picture, of course, is that us little people should get out to vote for her man and not the other guy.

In the interest of fairness, why wasn’t noted John Sidney McCain III supporter Chuck Norris given a chance to rock a muzzle in one of these ads? Oh that’s right, muzzles are afraid of Chuck, silly me…
