OU fan grabs UT fan in a Most Unchivalrous Manner

College Football season hasn’t even started and we already have incidents involving fans (sports unlike religion is one of the many arenas where it’s encouraged to be a fanatic) of rival schools.

This story’s headline pretty much sums it up,
Church Deacon, OU Fan Tears Scrotum Of UT Fan In Bar Fight

As a UT alum, I don’t put much of anything past Oklahoma Sooner fan. This case is probably one of those deals where one person lacks something and then tries to take that something from someone else who does have it. What’s next, an Aggie fan trying to lobotomize a Longhorn fan?

I wonder how or why “church deacon” made it into the headline?

Here’s my primer for the upcoming College Football season,  the world famous OU crying kid:

Don’t worry kid,  I’d cry too if my parents made me wear that shirt.

  1. Matt says:

Wow you would cry by putting that t-shirt on wow.

  2. Laz says:

    Matt,
Either you’re a Sooner fan or you didn’t get the point of the post, though it could be both.

Truth be told, Oklahoma looks tough and Texas, well let’s just hope they’re able to avoid getting shut out come October 6.

I have feeling Longhorn nation will be the one shedding tears after the Red River Rivalry.

  3. Boomer Sooner says:

    LOL…UT lost. 😉

  4. Chris says:

Church Deacon was included because of shock value, just like the instances when a Marine does something retarded; Headline always seems to read, US Marine blah blah blah.

  5. Scott says:

Why bother trying to have a dynasty when you can win 3 national titles in 60 years and make fun of a child who’s favorite team has 7.

    • Laz says:

      Really Scott? Really?

So you want the historical angle? Well you might want to take a gander at the uh, scoreboard:

Here are the stats for the Texas-OU rivalry:

      Texas 58 wins
      Oklahoma 40 wins
      4 ties

Scoreboard (IF you want to take the historical angle)
