Muttley creator dies

Iwao Takamoto, creator of snickering dog Muttley, has died at the age of 81. Mr. Takamoto also created some other cartoon canine named Scooby-Doo, whoever he is. I’m deeply saddened that the man who gave us Muttley, one of my favorite cartoon characters, has passed.
I’ll always remember Muttley as having that wheezing, smoker’s laugh. How a dog develops a smoker’s cough is something to ponder…
