What did He say?

This relates back to the previous post…

Fornication is an old-timey word which simply means “voluntary sexual intercourse between 2 persons not married to each other.” (Random House Webster’s Dictionary) In modern parlance, like most ‘ugly’ words, it has been softened to ‘pre-marital’ or ‘casual’ sex. “Having an affair” vs. Adultery, “Call girl” vs. Prostitute, the list goes on and on…

Jesus, you know that guy who is supposed to be tolerant and totally cool with all of our lifestyles, said some pretty crazy things for a guy with His New Agey reputation:

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting, and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.” Mark 7:21-23

Doesn’t sound like the tolerance that is preached from the cultural pulpits…
