According to this story,
“Woman Escorted Off Bus For Reading Bible Aloud”
A woman in Forth Worth was kicked off the bus for reading her Bible out loud to her kids.

“Anyone who [...]

Needless to say, found myself drawn to college football on this sunny New Year’s Eve. With the absence of cable in our household, the only game available for this college football fan’s viewing pleasure is the Brut Sun Bowl which pits the Oregon Ducks against the South Florida Bulls.

Hannah Montana Concert Winner Wrote Untrue Essay On Dad’s Death”

I thought this story interesting, especially after izzy99’s comment regarding the many Christian divisions,

From CS Lewis’ classic sermon, “The Weight of Glory”,
Our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he [...]

As a member of the Christian Hypocrite Hall of Fame (you see I became a member the very same day I was baptized), I want to extend my congratulations to Andy Pettitte for living a hypocrisy-free life until the age of 35.
I am convinced that the folks who pay no mind to “religion” because of [...]

We believe that all religions are basically the same –
at least the one that we read was.
They all believe in love and goodness.
They only differ on matters of creation,
sin, heaven, hell, God and salvation. — from Steve Turner’s “Creed”
Many Christians are angered or disturbed by so-called Interfaith groups. Anger isn’t really an emotion that [...]
